The Civil War Preservation Trust listed Lovejoy’s Station as one of the "Most Endangered Battlefields of 2008". A 204-acre section of the battlefield in Henry County has been preserved as the Nash Farm Battlefield, but 75 acres in adjoining Clayton County have been proposed for a 287-home residential development.
